Read-only by default
A broker connection lets QuantWheel see your holdings, positions, and history, so it can show your real portfolio, cost basis, and journal. It cannot move money or change anything in your account.
Security
Your broker connection is read-only by default, QuantWheel never sees your password, and trading exists only where you switch it on yourself. Here is exactly how that works.
A broker connection lets QuantWheel see your holdings, positions, and history, so it can show your real portfolio, cost basis, and journal. It cannot move money or change anything in your account.
Connections run through SnapTrade, a regulated brokerage data provider. You sign in on your broker's or SnapTrade's own screen. Your broker credentials are never typed into or stored by QuantWheel.
QuantWheel never places trades. Every broker connection is read-only, and every trade happens in your own broker.
API keys and AI connections over MCP are created in your dashboard, scoped to your account, and can be revoked at any time. Claude connects through OAuth; nothing is pasted into a chat.
Portfolio data travels over encrypted connections and is stored behind access controls. We use it to power your dashboard and journal, not to sell to anyone. Disconnect a broker or delete your account from settings whenever you want.
Security questions go to a founder, not a queue. Email us and you get a direct answer about what we store, why, and how to remove it.
Connect read-only and use real portfolio data instead of demo data. Cancel anytime.
